So here we are. We have been waiting for the first tooth for 7 1/2 months now. Finally we are teething. We are at least 12 days into this process. It just seems to me that teething is not a widely discussed topic. Brendan started out the 1st 4 days by waking up in the middle of the night. Then we finally realized what was going on when he started not eating well, drooling, and grabbing his mouth all the time. Now he hardly eats or drinks anything, will not sleep more than 1 hour at a time in the middle of the night and cries all day. I might take him to the doctor tomorrow to make sure he doesn't have an ear infection or anything else wrong with him because it blows my mind that one little tooth can disrupt our lives soooo much.
This poor little guy is in A LOT of pain. The tooth isn't even anywhere near the surface yet. Well, hopefully we will make it through this with a pearly white tooth and Brendan will go back to sleeping through the night!

Teeth can be monsters. Canon started teething around 4 months, but his first tooth did not poke through until 8 months. Maybe try some baby orajel or infant tylenol. They might help both of you sleep a little better.
